Food Experiences that Set You to Dreaming
Saturday, January 17 / 1:00-3:00 PM
Yarborough Branch Library / 2200 Hancock Drive

You'll explore the foods and food experiences that tap into your long-held creative goals. Along with enjoying a freshly prepared pastry to inspire the flow of ideas, we will talk and write and begin to uncover some of the important food experiences that hold unique and valuable sources of story. The pieces written during the workshop can become first drafts for a publishable essay, short story, or food column. Led by journalist and food writer Lisa Joy Solomon. Click here to RSVP (the workshop is free!).

Food Experiences that Create Moments of Calm
Saturday, January 31 / 1:00-3:00 PM
Yarborough Branch Library / 2200 Hancock Drive

You'll explore the concept of foods and food experiences that tap into, or perhaps encourage, unexpected but needed moments of calm. We'll enjoy a specially selected pastry to engage our taste buds, and we'll talk and write about how certain food experiences provide much-needed moments of tranquility. The pieces written during the workshop have the potential to serve as a core idea or first draft for a publishable essay, short story, or food column. Led by journalist and food writer Lisa Joy Solomon. Click here to RSVP (the workshop is free!).
