Reddy-ReadingPlease join us for a reading by poets Srikanth Reddy and Suzanne Buffam on Friday, November 6, at 7:00 PM in the Joynes Reading Room, Carothers Residence Hall, 2501 Whitis Avenue.

Srikanth Reddy is the author of four poetry collections, including Voyager and Facts for Visitor, and a book of criticism, Changing Subjects: Digressions in Modern American Poetry. The recipient of fellowships and awards from the Asian American Writer’s Workshop, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Creative Capital Foundation, he is currently an Associate Professor of English at the University of Chicago.

Suzanne Buffam is the author of Past Imperfect and The Irrationalist. Her poems have appeared in Poetry, Jubilat, and the Denver Quarterly. A 2013 NEA Literature Fellow and the recipient of the CBC Literary Award for Poetry and Ferald Lampert Memorial Award, she currently teaches creative writing at the University of Chicago.
