Everything is Bigger really gets to the spring living. Stoked to host visiting poet Melissa Cundieff-Pexa, local poet Jennifer Whalen, and playwright Diana Lynn Small at Nasty's Bar.

Melissa Cundieff-Pexa received an MFA from Vanderbilt and will pursue a PhD at Binghamton University in fall 2015. Her poems are forthcoming or have appeared in journals such as Bat City, Phantom Limb, and The Collagist, among others. The author of a chapbook, Futures with Your Ghost, she lives in Ithaca, NY with her family.

Jennifer Whalen is an MFA candidate in poetry at Texas State. She is the poetry editor for Front Porch Journal and was a recent fellow at the Poetry at Round Top festival. Next year, she'll be poet laureate of Smithville. 

Diana Lynn Small makes art for a live audience. Diana is a MFA candidate in the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas at Austin focusing on playwriting and poetry. She’s made new theatre with Westmont College, UT Austin, Theatre Masters, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Ratatat Theater Group, FronteraFest, and the Zach Theatre. Diana was an artist in residence at Tofte Lake Center in Ely, MN in 2014. She’s a member of the Lit Moon Theatre Company. She fronted the Santa Barbara girl-pop band Sheanderthal. More at
